Recipe for delicious homemade baked beans in tomato sauce

  • hansel beans (preferred by Stefik) 500 g.
  • bacon
  • sausage
  • onion, garlic
  • Passat Rustici.
  • Marjoram and spices as desired


  • Cover the hansel beans with cold water and leave for at least eight hours. After soaking, pour out water and fill with fresh, necessarily salted. Then add the bay leaf and allspice.
  • Cook under a lid until tender, then strain.
  • Cut two onions and bacon into cubes, and cut the sausage into half slices. Toss in the oil and add the garlic, pressed through a press. Fry until the onion is glazed.
  • Add the bacon and sausage and fry until brown.
  • Add the Passat and simmer for a while.
  • Finally, we add the beans and we season as desired.
  • Simmer for approx. 30 minutes then we add marjoram.
