

Fragrant bean soup cooked on ribs

Ingredients:
- White beans (preferred Stefik beans) approx. 250 g
- Ribs 0.5 kg
- Smoked bacon 150 g
- 4 large potatoes
- Onions, carrots, celery, parsley
- Bay leaf, allspice, marjoram
- Spices at your discretion
Recipe:
- Pour cold salted water over the beans and soak them overnight. Then boil until tender in salted water.
- Fill the ribs with cold water, boil and collect the accumulated scum. Add a little salt, bay leaf, allspice.
- Cook the sliced vegetables until the meat softens.
- Cut the onion into small cubes and glaze it in oil. Then we add diced bacon and fry it, stirring occasionally.
- Add diced potatoes, bacon and onions, and boiled beans to the boiling broth. Cook until the potatoes are ready
- At the end, add marjoram and spices as desired. Best served hot
